May 6, 2013- Anatomy Of A Hard Lacrosse Hit

Never really appreciated how physical lacrosse was until I saw these photos, while working on shots of the game for the paper.

April 21, 2013- Fiddlefest Neversink NY

I was nice to see a genre of music mostly defined as southern going strong above the Mason-Dixon line.
Musicians, and fans of Bluegrass and classic Country Music attended the nineteenth annual Fiddlefest at the Volunteer Fire Department Hall in Neversink on Sunday afternoon, April 21, 2013.

Groups like The Back Porch Gang took the stage and played for the crowd.



Groups like Little Sparrow, from left: Aldo Troiani, Carol Smith, and Lynn Reno , look for any place that may be available to practice, or warm up before their turn on stage.

Even a clear stairwell make a nice practice spot for banjo player Dick Barkley.

After the Inaugural Village of Montgomery St Patrick's Day Parade, some of the pipe bands gathered on Clinton Street for a "Battle Of The Bands."

The vigil was for Lembhard, who was killed in a confrontation with the City of Newburgh Police earlier in the day. December 1, 2012- Wreaths Across America

Cadets, scouts, and volunteers laid out wreaths on graves of those buried at the cemetery on West Point Saturday afternoon, The event was part of "Wreaths Across America," which is a nationwide event, laying wreaths on graves honoring those soldiers that have passed.

November 28, 2012- "American Choppers" Bike Rollout

GAF, North America’s largest roofing manufacturer, announced today their partnership with Orange County Choppers, custom and production motorcycle manufacturer, to commission an “Investing in America” GAF bike. 

The reveal of the motorcycle will be taped for the final season of the popular show, American Chopper, and will air in the last episode to show a customer-commissioned bike. 
The event will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 6:00pm at OCC’s location in Newburgh, New York, and will be open to the public and media.
GAF and Orange County Choppers are American-owned companies with American-made products that focus on quality and innovation. 
The GAF Chopper is the final commissioned bike that OCC is building for their long running 10-year television series.  
Paul Teutul Sr., owner of Orange County Choppers, will be presenting the GAF Chopper during the filming of this unveil.
